Week #1


Hey everyone, welcome to the first devlog of my game HACK WANTED (yey)! Like a week ago, the game I was working on, with all of it's backups unfortunately got corrupted, and I've already made this game once, but I would have had to change a lot if I wanted to continue with it, so I rather restarted and decided to make a devlog of it. As I could save the models from my last version, I could just hop into Unity and start programming.


So, first things first, I made a really bad driving mechanic, but I think a game is lot more fun when it's a bit funky, (not that I couldn't make it better..., yeah, definitely...). It may look like 10 secs for you, but for some reason it took me a WHOLE day.
Than, when I fixed some things, I added some effects, created a mini-map, made the ability to flip the car up, and realised that there was a wheel collider in the first place, but now I'm too lazy to fix it soooo, it will be as it is.


As we go on, I introduced the police! These filthy entities will be the actors of your worst nightmares, well... if they don't just zoom by you and forget you ever existed. But that happens rarely, trust me. Ohh, yeah, and if you can notice, there's a yellow circle on the minimap that indicates the are where police can notice you and will only be visible when police sees you. Also, when they don't see you, they'll patrol, and when 1 notices you, all the others will notice you too.



Sooo, this is what I got for the first weeks devlog, I plan to upload a video every week, when there's enough content to be shown. I know this one was a bit short, but the others will be longer, I promise.
